Not much to say
For once I am lost for words and have no idea what to blog about. Not much has happened, really. I've been playing Guild Wars, cleaning, preparing for my new job and sorting Christmas presents out.
On another note, Albus Dumbledore is gay. Who'da thunk it?
“2,000 lucky fans had the opportunity to interact with JK Rowling this evening at Carnegie Hall. The reading was rather eventful, as Jo revealed a lot of new information previously unknown about the series.
The most notable news of the night was the revelation of Dumbledore's sexuality. Jo says Dumbledore was gay and in love with Gellert Grindelwald. JK, in response to the audience's reaction, said “If I had known this would have made you so happy, I would have told you years ago.” - From Mugglenet
Try to stay away from the post comments on Mugglenet, they're full of dumb and fail. What's the betting some parents try to get the Harry Potter books banned because, “OMGZ DUMBLEYDORE IS TEH GAYYEEH!”? They've already tried getting them banned because apparently they're the “work of the devil”. I'm predicting the paedophile card will be played, too. Ugh! Big deal! So what if a fictional character is gay? So what if anyone is gay? I really cannot tolerate homophobes, they ought to be put in a rocket and shot to the sun.
JK also revealed Neville Longbottom married Hannah Abbott, who became the new Landlady of The Leaky Cauldron. Awww.
