Back to Wordpress

Well, I am back here on Wordpress. I will still be cross-posting my entries to my LiveJournal, however. The reason I am hosting my blog on my personal web space? LiveJournal are being taken over by yet another company and I’m unsure whether I want to continue paying for an account. Also, LiveJournal have given in to irresponsible parents and are starting to slowly censor people’s content by allowing fellow users to “flag” each other’s entries as inappropriate, also you’re obligated to mark entries seen as adult-orientated. Just goes to show some people want the parenting done for them and won’t monitor their own child’s Internet usage. I don’t like the idea of this flagging and censorship. It’ll be abused like mad. I remember when LiveJournal used to be great, when you had to be invited to have an account. Ah well.

Forgive me if anything looks screwy here, I’m tweaking Wordpress to my own requirements. I would like to get the blog onto the main page without having to change the directory, I will find out how.  I also apologise for this page not being XHTML valid, the reason for this is the LiveJournal imported entries contain certain tags that validation doesn’t like. I don’t want to have to go and edit every single entry, but I’ll do my best to get the page valid again.
