Looking back at 2007

2007 has been quite a year for me. So many things have happened, some good some not so good. I’ll go through a list of things that have happened.

  • I almost got evicted due to my landlord being the devil incarnate, it’s a long story.
  • I have had two jobs, both have been temporary (boo!).
  • I spent most of the year planning our wedding.
  • I got married.
  • I went on honeymoon to Blackpool.
  • I got to visit the Blackpool Pleasure Beach and ride on the Pepsi Max Big One, yay!
  • I went to the top of the Blackpool Tower.
  • We had a nice, quiet first Christmas as husband and wife.

I’m sure other things happened, but these are the most memorable and important. Looking back on the year, I spent most of it planning the wedding, most of my efforts went into that. My hopes for 2008 are that I can get a permanent job instead of doing temp work here and there. I would also love to move out of this place into somewhere bigger. I would also like to think about expanding our little family. I won’t lie, I have been broody since Sean and I got married. I would actually like to have a child. I’m not a child-hating bitch like people make me out to be, I just don’t appreciate bad parents and misbehaving kids. I would adore my own kids, by that I mean if I adopted too. It’s just other people’s kids I tend to get iffy about.

We’ll have to see what 2008 brings, I am going to go with the flow.

What a year :) I’m sure you’ll find a permenant job, the fact that you’ve had temporary jobs just adds to your experience on your CV! ^_^

I know how you feel about kids. I was talking about this the other day actually, I am not good with other people’s kids but I’m sure if I had my own it would be a different story. So I think it’s a wonderful idea.

@Lisa - I don’t mind getting more experience, but I’m concerned potential employers will think I’m a “job tart” so to speak, and will not want to employ me because they think I will up and leave after a few months.

@Synergy - Thank you. :D
