Jeremy Beadle

TV presenter Jeremy Beadle died today (30th January 2008) after suffering from pneumonia, his agent has announced. The 59-year old star was admitted to hospital last week but died earlier today. His wife and family were with him when he died. Beadle found fame in the 1980s as one of four presenters on Game for a Laugh, a prime time prank show on ITV, before going on to present Beadle’s About and You’ve Been Framed for the same channel. Earlier in his career, he worked as a presenter on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4, as well as on Radio 2 as a late night host on Nightline. He was awarded an MBE in 2001 for services to charity.

Another death, I find this very sad. I enjoyed watching Beadle’s About and You’ve Been Framed as a child. May Jeremy Beadle rest in peace and may his family find peace and comfort.

I only heard about that this morning, but it made me so sad. I always loved him and I watched Beadle’s About and You’ve Been Framed too. *sigh*

All this bad news is quite saddening. I used to enjoy his shows, especially you’ve been framed. RIP.
