Leap year
It is a leap year, and it is also February the 29th. I felt inclined to post today since it’s a rare occurence to have the 29th day this month. Besides, I wouldn’t want to wait another four years to post it. Apparently today is the day the ladies need to propose to their man, so if you are intending to marry your beloved, get to it! I’m joking, you don’t really have to do it. I’m not forcing you or anything.
How does one go about celebrating their birthday if it is on February the 29th? Do you celebrate it on the 28th or on the 1st of March? Please someone enlighten me, it’s always been a mystery. Were any of my readers born on this day? If so, speak up. I’d love to hear from you. I might even give you a birthday greeting.

February 29th, 2008 at 2:44 pmI have always found Leap Day to be strange. Imagine having to explain to a little kid that their birthday only comes around every 4 years. I mean, most parents of Leap Day babies celebrate their child’s birthday on the day before or after, but to me that just wouldn’t be the same. It is kind of fascinating though.
