Quilting Bee
I am a member of the Quilting Bee, a very fun, lovely community of website owners who have their own online “quilt” for the purpose of trading their “patches” with one another and making new friends. It’s a pixel clique/community, basically. I have never really blogged about it, shame on me! It’s by far the best pixel clique out there and I have so much fun creating pixel graphics and trading with fellow “bees”. The other great thing about joining the Quilting Bee has been that I have discovered so many wonderful websites. I am amazed at the website designs created solely in pixel-style. It must take such a long time to make them. I am no where near that good at making pixel images, but I hope to improve.
I first found out about the clique years ago, I believe it may have just been starting out. I joined briefly with a previous domain. I lost interest for whatever reasons. I rejoined back in October to find out that Jem, an old school acquaintance/college friend had took it over. It’s doing so well right now and I commend her and the worker bees for all the time and effort being put into the club. It’s paying off!
If you are interested in seeing what it’s all about, you can check out my own quilt here. If you want more information please visit the Quilting Bee site. If you have a website, want to make new friends and you have an interest in creating pixel graphics, why not join? It’s not an elite clique or anything like that, it’s easy to become a member. Check it out. ![]()

And I just love this layout, Sarah! The color scheme is so lovely and soothing. I really enjoy it!
