April Fools: New web host needed

This was an April Fool’s joke!

My web host has sent me an e-mail, they are shutting down my account. The reason? Well it seems “somebody” has reported a certain blog post. I did get an e-mail about it to remove the post some time ago, but I didn’t see any reason why I should since it doesn’t have his personal details displayed. I responded saying I thought this decision was unfair and stated my reasons, I thought it was sorted since they didn’t respond for a while, I was wrong. I got an e-mail a few days ago saying they will be deleting my account unless I remove the “offending” post. I flat-out refused to remove it. There is no reason to close my account and delete the blog post. It’s a matter of principle. If the guy didn’t go around e-mailing me such stupid and offensive messages then I wouldn’t even blog about him.

Time to find a new host I suppose. I am backing up my files right now. Lisa, don’t worry about hosting I will still host you and I will back up your site also. I’m not sure when they will be closing down the site exactly, I’m guessing very soon. Hopefully I’ll be on another host up and running soon.
