Optician visit soon

I have booked an appointment to see the optician on Friday, I booked one for Sean too. I am due for my appointment (I get checked every two years) and Sean is a year overdue for his. He kept putting it off but I decided it was about time he went. Besides, he’d probably need a prescription change by now. I wonder if my prescription has changed? It always has each time I have been.

When I was younger, I only had to wear glasses for reading and watching the television. Now I wear them all the time, by choice. I feel I can’t live without glasses, I hate having to squint to see things afar. I haven’t really considered contact lenses since they’re quite pricey and probably a pain to keep changing. I don’t mind wearing glasses, I used to hate wearing them. I have accepted they’re a part of everyday life and now I just wear them all the time. I hope to get new glasses regardless of whether I have a change of prescription or not. I’m starting to realise my “emo-looking” glasses aren’t that flattering. I am going to go for metal glasses rather than plastic. I wish I could afford rimless, but they’re very expensive. I’ll see what kind of selection there is when the time comes.

Wow, I have resorted to posting about having to go to the optician. I’m getting boring. Not much has happened lately so I haven’t had much else to write about. Oh well, hopefully life will get more exciting soon enough!

I need to go to the eye doctor too. I’m past due for getting checked. I go once a year because my eyesight seems to get worse every year. I can’t read anything without my glasses. So blurry!

I like my glasses. I will never wear contacts! Glasses all the way for me! Mine are pnk. I don’t know if I will keep my pink ones or get different ones. Hopefully you’ll be able to find a cool pair at a good price. :)
