Secret projects, oh my!
May 10, 2008 – 10:59 am
I have been working on a couple of projects. The title is a little misleading, only one of them is a secret project. I am working on the revamp of my portfolio, soon it will have its own domain name. I just can’t decide on the design I want for it. I need to make it the best design it can be, so I intend to spend quite some time on it. The secret project is well… secret. I will give you one clue however. It is a fanlisting. That is the only clue I am giving you. Some people already know about the secret project, so I suppose it is not all that secret. Oh well, it makes this blog post a little more interesting. Besides, if Melissa and whoever else can have her own secret projects, so can I.
I have recently been accepted into Perfection, an elite design gallery and reviewing community. I am very chuffed about this, so thanks to the people who gave me the nod! Boo to the people who shook their heads. Only kidding. You’re entitled to your opinion.
I have seen so many inspiring websites in the gallery and it makes me want to improve even more with my web development. I may be boring, but I ensure my designing is certainly not.
For any Quilting Beesters (what?) that have my patch on their quilt, I have a brand spanking new patch. Feel free to replace my old patch with this one:

Cute, eh? I was thinking to myself, “I wonder what a human pyramid with bees would look like!” The above is the result of this odd thought. So there you go, a bee pyramid. You saw it here first, folks!

May 13th, 2008 at 1:04 amYay for you and Perfection! I’m hoping to reapply with my current layout soon. I need to get my extras section cleaned up a bit more.
I am too also working on my Portfolio site as well. I have to get screencaps of my old designs first. ![]()

May 13th, 2008 at 9:32 pmCongrats on being accepted into Perfection! I tried twice before. Some people there seem to have serious issues regarding rainbows. Whatever!
Maybe I’ll try again one day.
Your new Q*Bee patch is super cute! ![]()

May 13th, 2008 at 9:44 pm@Ashley: Thank you. Yes some people tend to be very picky. I love rainbows. Speaking of rainbows, I saw this very cute top in a store today with a sweet rainbow and cloud and thought of you. It wasn’t in my size, sadly. I should have taken a picture of it.

May 14th, 2008 at 2:17 amYay for projects! It’s nice to keep busy and have a goal. Instead of randomly clicking things for hours on end and accomplishing nothing, which is what I do! :P Congrats on Perfection! I never quite got into the whole hype with it. Possibly the Internet has jaded me by now. But to be deemed ‘Perfect,’ by some of the pickiest people in our circle, seems like a pretty great accomplishment!

May 12th, 2008 at 10:20 amOnce I get 100x better at designing, I just might join Perfection. In the mean time, I’ll just stalk it.
