The usual

Not much has happened recently, I’m still looking for work. There seems to be even less jobs to apply for now. It really is disheartening. The job interview that got cancelled hasn’t been rescheduled. The lady has not got back to me and I have tried calling her but her phone always seems to be off. I have not heard a thing from the agency, either. Times are rough right now.

It is Sean’s birthday on the 27th, I can’t afford to get him anything since I have literally no money. Sean’s parents are kindly going to give Sean some money so we can go out for a meal for his birthday. This will be the first time in months that we have gone out for a meal together. I hope it will do us some good.

I am hoping things look up very soon, but I doubt it. The economy has gone down the pan and rather than hiring workers, companies are having to make them redundant. I really do not see myself finding work anytime soon. I am trying to stay positive, but right now I am in a little slump. I need a job desperately, I am doing all I can. We’re struggling so much, I’m just hoping things can only get better rather than worse.

I’m sorry things suck. My offer of kidnapping still stands. :P

I am so sorry, Sarah. I wish there was something that I could do to help. The only thing I can say is to try and stick close to your family & believe that you will survive. That is what my family does. It has worked for 28 years so far.

@Jenn: Thank you. :)

@Aisling: Oh, it is kidnapping now? When was I going to be filled in on the plan? Hehe. Thanks for the support. :)

Maybe you could start looking at jobs overseas or farther away from where you live right now? I might not be ideal, but I know for a fact that there’s always a shortage of web development people in my country. (The Netherlands)
And if the guy from invading Holland can do it, I’m sure you can too :D (http://www.invadingholland.com)

I really hope for you that you can get a job though! :D

@Tina: Thanks, I’m glad you’re looking out for me.

@Emsz: Emigrating isn’t an option right now, I’m afraid. Sean doesn’t want to leave the country, and I won’t go without him.

I hope the birthday went well, and I wish you luck in finding a job soon! It’s tough not having a job and not knowing what will happen next. *hugs!* Hopefully the perfect job will find its way to you sooner rather than later!
