Jem Facebook challenge

My friend, the Internet meanie and self-proclaimed PHP Ninja, Jem is known to avoid social networking sites like the plague. While in the Quilting Bee chatroom, me and some other Bees came up with an idea to create a Jem/Jemjabella Facebook fan group. Jem said if we got 200 members to join it, then she would create a Facebook account. Yes, you heard it right! Of course, she has tried backing out of this agreement in any way she can. However, resistance is futile! She has made a deal with the devil now, there is no turning back!

I went ahead and created the group. While it would be cool to have Jem join us on Facebook, the group’s main purpose is to unite all Jem fans. If you like Jem, her site, her scripts or her overall leetness then go ahead and join. Wow, at the time of this post there are sixty members! I only created the group yesterday. Not bad, eh? I have to thank the Bees involved for their effort in inviting people.

This is going to be fun.
