Online games

I love to play games, online games too. I have found some games that really caught my eye and that I find enjoyable. Here I will share a few of them with a mini review.

Puzzle Farter
The aim of the game is to have a fish-like bespectacled fellow get through each of the 50 levels, with include enemies and spikes. To do this he needs to “break wind” to get to his goal. Basically, with the arrow keys you “fart” him to his goal. Some goals are elevated so you have to use a fart flying technique. Various fart noises can be heard and green gas clouds emit from the fishy dude’s backside. This is a good game if you find farting funny, which I do at times I must admit. Toilet humour aside, it is a well-designed game. I got to level 23, not bad I reckon.

Burger Restaurant
This is a burger restaurant simulation game. The object is to make as much money as possible serving customers fast food, sounds fun right?. Just like any fast food customer you see for real, the customers will get quite miffed at you If you get their order wrong or burn the food. They will reject it. You eventually get a queue of customers if you’re too slow. Depending on how long the customers wait they will get impatient and sometimes angry. If you do not serve them in good time, they will leave, along with their cash. Each time you pass a level, more food choices are available - and more customers! They will be as impatient as ever and make your time as a burger flipper a misery. All in all, this is actually a decent game. It is fast-paced and keeps you thinking. Good if you like a challenge.

Stinkoman
Homestar Runner is one of my favourite websites to cure boredom. The game, Stinkoman is possibly my favourite game that is offered on the site. You guide “Stinkoman” through the levels, while trying to avoid or blast enemies. The thing that I really love about the game is the music during the first level gameplay. It is so catchy. The game itself reminds me of the Megaman games, I’m guessing this is what it is based on. I do find the game a little tough, but it keeps me busy for a few minutes. Besides, if I do get whooped on it I can always refresh the page, select start new game and let the music loop while secretly dancing along to it. My verdict: good game, brilliant music.

Dancin’ Bubs
No, I don’t mean this Bubs (although a game with a dancing BubblesSOC Bubs would be cool!), but Bubs from the Homestar Runner website. Pretty self-explanitory, you make Bubs dance. You can select various body movement combinations, music and backgrounds (the “Your Grave” background is my favourite). Entertaining for a few seconds at the most, but still a favourite of mine, as it has been for a fair few years. I am easily amused.

Puzzle Bobble
The cute little dinosaurs from the gaming classic Bubble Bobble are featured in this game. The object of the game is burst bubbles by matching three or more bubbles of the same colour together to prevent more bubbles building up. If too many bubbles build up, the game is over. This is a cute game, fun to play and can be challenging. This game is often imitated, but I prefer this version with the cute music and characters.
