Pet peeves

Everybody has pet peeves, something that annoys them. Recently I’ve been annoyed at a fair few things, I will share them with you.

Cheating in multiplayer games
You’re in an online multiplayer game, doing quite well, shooting a few players, “owning” in general. All of a sudden a player comes into sight and shoots you dead, just one shot. Usually this person has a ridiculously high kill ratio compared to the amount of deaths. Odd how these “gamers” time it exactly right as you’re heading around the corner, eh? Wrong. More than likely these people are cheating. For Call of Duty 2, there is a popular mod available called a wall hack, it allows the player to see through walls, therefore being able to spot enemies no matter where they are. Sometimes these pests also use an auto aiming bot for good measure. Auto aim takes the work out of having to aim manually, it takes the fun out of it too.

I don’t see why people have to cheat in a multiplayer game, it takes the fun out of the experience and unbalances the game. Cheating also turns some decent players away from playing, so you’re left with the gaming sheisters. It seems nobody wants to be seen as the “noob” so they feel they need to use these hacks to look like they’re a pro. Cheating causes the opposite effect. It makes the player seem even more of a noob. Thankfully the majority of Call of Duty players frown upon cheating, still there are a few that think they will look cool from doing so. Methods are being implemented to prevent cheating, but like everything else, there are always ways to beat the system.

Constant shouting
Why oh why do people feel the need to constantly yell all the time? There always seems to be this one woman around my area that is always shouting for her many children. Every single day this woman shouts and it’s distracting. I feel like shouting back, but that would be counter-productive, right? Maybe she ought to have her children on a lead if she keeps losing them.

Junk mail
No, I do not need car or home insurance. I certainly do not need a loan or mortgage, either. I do not like Dominoes Pizza, I prefer Perfect Pizza.

Sarah Palin
It is not just what she believes in that irks me, it is her backwards thinking. I may be British, but it’s still worrying this woman may be president someday.

What are your pet peeves?

Unless they wrote those mods and hacks themselves, they are a noob.

And I prefer Pizza Hut. :P

Yelling is a thing with us moms. No matter how hard I try not to I do it. Why? I have 3 boys who daily try to kill each other. Now when you have a fool proof method so I do not have to scream I will worship you for the rest of my days. :p I swear people cheat on Pirates Online. Although once they brag about it they usually get their account taken away. There are ‘glitches’ people use esp if they cannot sail to save their lives such as me. I love to get local store ads because they always have a coupon can use. And I love Dominos pizza. Dunno why but always have. I just don’t like out Republicans in office. Ours in CA has gone off the deep end. Actors should never be in office. They promise us they will not take anything away from the schools but this year my son who is 3 years behind is no longer getting help.

Pet peeves??? I’ve got plenty!
Right now I hate wannabe gangsta African teen boys “demanding” respect when they don’t even know how to wipe their asses. They walk the streets demanding “pussy” (literally speaking), when I’m sure they never got the chance to sleep with anyone.

I dislike people (often those wannabe gangstas) that listen to their mobile music without the earphones. I don’t make anyone listen to the music I listen to, so why should they?

I hate, hate, hate people without manners and respect for other people.

And this is how much I bother to write down without writing a novel on your comments. I think I hate people.

Wow I have about a million pet peeves. I don’t think they’d fit in this box. Maybe I should write them all down sometime. It could be interesting and entertaining.

I also hate when people cheat in games, though. It really makes the whole experience unenjoyable for the people who are practicing to better their skills.

Also, I’m not a fan of Palin. It absolutely scares me anyone would support her in the political sense.

Did you know Ice T loves call of duty?

And I hate mothers who can’t handle their kids, too!!

However, the fact that you’re British and you hate Sarah Palin annoys me.

I don’t care that you care about our politics, actually quite the opposite, I think it’s great that you keep up with world news… Ummm, what I mean is that it annoys me how a lot of Americans DON’T EVEN KNOW WHO SHE IS!! Really, truly, a lot of my coworkers have no clue. And you’re half a world away and you seem to know more than a lot of people in the States.

Are American politics bigger in the UK than they are here? Hm…

You seem to have made quite a few assumptions about me, Alyse. I don’t hate parents who cannot control their kids. I have never said I hate them.

However, the fact that you’re British and you hate Sarah Palin annoys me.

You’re annoyed because I am British? Goodness me, how on earth do you cope on the Internet with all these annoying foreigners on it? (Note this was sarcastic).

I don’t hate Sarah Palin. How could I hate somebody I don’t know personally? All I said is that she annoys me.

I don’t care that you care about our politics

If you don’t care, why are you getting so defensive over Palin?

Ummm, what I mean is that it annoys me how a lot of Americans DON’T EVEN KNOW WHO SHE IS!! Really, truly, a lot of my coworkers have no clue. And you’re half a world away and you seem to know more than a lot of people in the States.

What is this to do with you not caring about whether I care about American politics? Please help me understand.

Are American politics bigger in the UK than they are here? Hm…

No, I’m sure they’re not. It just so happens the US politics have been in the news quite a bit here.

Overall, Alyse, your first comment on my site has confused me. I don’t know whether you’re having a rib at me or not. Very odd indeed.

:D :D :D :D :D I knew it would come off that way.. what I meant was that it surprises me that you seem to understand more about American politics than many Americans.

I was very tired last night :p I couldn’t word anything right, in person and online!

And we seem to use the word hate differently, I use hate ass an easier way to say “it annoys me”

I don’t really hate anyone, especially mothers with a million kids! It just annoys me when they can’t handle them.

And I’m sorry, but I’m not one to get defensive over Palin :p

Hope this comment made more sense!! u_u
