Bullets, for the win

It is time for the uninspired, bullet blog post again. Yay!

That is all, for now. Hopefully my mood changes for the better next time.

Meeting Rachael and Jem

May 30, 2008 – 7:24 pm

Rachael and I being goofy at the train station

I am knackered. Today I got to meet up with two spiffy ladies, Rachael and Jem. Jem’s brother and sister tagged along, too. I have seen Jem many times since we went to school and college together, but it was my first time meeting Rachael. Yes, I met somebody off the Internets! Rachael is lovely and it was great to meet her. She came to my hometown, what a brave girl! We all had a good time. We had something to eat and sat in the park, we then went around a few shops. One of them stocked some nice “boy pants” so I bought two pairs. Rachael took a picture of a pair of amazing pants, they said “Queen Bee” on the waist band with bees all over them. What a cool reference to the Quilting Bee, eh? Not to mention a great find. Jem didn’t buy them but I’m sure Rachael will share the photo of them once she returns after the weekend.

Rainbow Girl

May 28, 2008 – 9:23 pm

I have got a fanlisting up and running, it is for Ashley of Rainbow Stuff. Ashley doesn’t know I have created it yet, well I suppose she does now! If you’re also a fan of Ashley, then consider joining!

I am getting back into the fanlisting scene, I am going to work on a collective soon and then I may create another fanlisting or two. We’ll see!

MySpace is no good

May 25, 2008 – 1:14 pm

As you may know, I have been trying to delete my MySpace account for quite some time, a few weeks to be exact. I say trying because I never seem to receive the cancellation confirmation e-mail. How convenient. I have no need for the blasted thing any more, I use Facebook. I have tried daily to get it cancelled. They say you may need to wait around forty-eight hours for the e-mail, but three weeks takes the Mickey. I have checked my spam folder, I have checked my e-mail address is correct and all that jazz, however nothing seems to work. I have tried contacting MySpace directly, of course I get no response.

I know MySpace want as many members as possible, but every member should have a right to remove their account whenever they wish. Restricting this will only cause more backlash. MySpace is a waste of web space, in my opinion. For a “professional” company, they sure do have crap mark-up. Their site is slow, poorly designed and their “service” is diabolical. Facebook isn’t exactly wonderful, but it is far better than the cesspit that is MySpace.

Maybe I ought to get myself banned from the horrid site, that way my account will be deleted. All I’d need to do is create an Atheist group since all Atheist/Agnostic groups have been removed in the past due to Fox’s owner being offended by them. Sounds like a plan. ;)
