Site
I have been designing web pages around eight years, it’s something I love doing. It all started with a simple “drag and drop” South Park fan page. After a few fan sites, I branched out to my own personal site. Eventually I purchased my first domain and my web design improved. Now a few domains later, here I am.
Why the name, cherry-pip.net? Quite simple, it is a pet name my husband has given me. He will often say something like, “How are you my little cherry pip?”. You could also say it symbolises the transition from girlfriend to wife. To me the name Cherry Pip means commitment, love and a special bond between spouses. It is personal to me, so it is a very fitting name for my personal website.
The domain is registered with Host Gator, they host the site too. They have been brilliant so far, I highly recommend them. I make my graphics with Adobe Photoshop and a wonderful free program called Paint.Net. Coding was written by me in Notepad++.
The website is created with valid XHTML and CSS. This means it should look fine on different web browsers and devices. There may be occasions where I have missed an error, nobody’s perfect! If you do find an error or something that doesn’t look right, please contact me.
